We have been providing a wide variety of legal services for investment and expansion projects in Pakistan (including in relation to M&A, JVs, project finance, ODA, crisis management, compliance, labor law, and dispute resolution).
Pakistan is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, with a large population of approximately 210 million people, a low average age of about 23, and an abundance of highly-skilled English-speaking workers. Pakistan is also a pro-Japan country, and many Japanese products such as cars are highly valued throughout the country. As such, Pakistan is home to a myriad of business opportunities for Japanese companies.
We, Nishimura & Asahi, have been providing a wide variety of legal services (including in relation to M&A, JVs, project finance, ODA, crisis management, compliance, labor law, and dispute resolution) with our Pakistani law experts in our offices in Japan and Dubai, in association with Afridi & Angell, a prominent law firm to which we have been sending a secondee, as well as our relationships with local firms that we have developed over the years.
