The Osaka office opened on August 1, 2012, as the Kansai regional base of Nishimura & Asahi (N&A). N&A is the largest law firm in Japan with more than 800 attorneys, as well as foreign attorneys and other professionals. The Osaka office provides a full range of legal services in all areas of business law for commercial activities both in Japan and overseas, with a focus on companies located in the Kansai, Chugoku, and Shikoku regions.

The greatest feature of the Osaka office is its ability to provide “one-stop” effective and high value-added legal services from “Kansai” for various transactions, such as projects that require comprehensive ability across numerous practice areas, leading cases requiring processing capability based on high expertise, deals requiring short-term intensive mobility, global expansion/development matters (including cross-border M&A), crisis management for overseas subsidiaries, international disputes, etc. In particular, by taking full advantage of N&A’s global network, which includes cooperative relationships with dominant domestic law firms throughout the world, 14 overseas offices (Bangkok, Shanghai, Dubai, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, NY, Singapore, Taipei, and Yangon) and four domestic offices (Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Sapporo), the Osaka office will continue to provide high-level legal services to our clients.
