Incorporated Associations & Foundations
Formulation of incorporated associations & foundation to meet legal needs
The enforcement of Japan's public interest corporation legislation (the General Incorporated Associations and Foundations Act and the Public Interest Incorporated Associations and Foundations Authorization Act of 2008) was changed extensively with the introduction of new legislation. Whilst more simplistic from a governance perspective due to the introduction of increased autonomy through companies’ articles of incorporation, the legislation has introduced a complicated governance system. In addition, the requirements for public interest certification have become very strict and complicated regulations have been introduced for public interest incorporated corporations and foundations. In this legal maze, Nishimura & Asahi will take full advantage of our considerable corporate legal experience to optimally meet all our clients’ legal needs including the establishment, management, legal disputes and corporate restructuring of incorporated associations and foundations.
